Our air comes in through the exterior vents and keeps us comfortable while driving, and to do that without passing on the bits and pieces, it passes through the cabin air filter.
The cabin air filter goes in looking bright white, clean of anything that has touched it. When you check it, it’s often a different color from that white. If you see a grey or brown cabin air filter, that’s a sign that your air filter can need replacing. You may also notice your air not coming out as forcefully as it used to, or not effectively heating/cooling the car.
